Joslyn's Haircut

Joslyn decided to cut her own hair.
I took her to have it fixed at Great Clips.
I think it turned out pretty cute.

First Day of Kindergarten

Joslyn started kindergarten today,

she is in Mrs. Kendall's afternoon class.She is really excited to be in the same class

as her cousin Sam.

Target Shooting

We went shooting out on the west side of the lake.

Right after I took this picture we noticed that there

were spider webs all over the sage brush.

This is what the spiders looked like that were on the webs, they were huge and everywhere, you couldn't walk through the brush without them getting you.

Remi really enjoyed shooting, he is actually a pretty good shot already.

Savanah was a little worried the gun would be too loud and have a kick to it.
She wanted to shoot the BB gun not the .22.

Cambry didn't shoot the gun she just held it for a picture. Joslyn wouldn't hold it at all.

We shot up against a hill, while we were shooting we saw a coyote on the top of the hill so Travis got his .223 gun and ran up the hill to see if he could get it. He got some shots at it and it limped away, he tried to find it but it ran through the brush and hid. Travis looked for it for a while but he didn't want to walk through all the spiders to find it.

First Day of School

Remi started 1st grade today, he was really excited about his new clothes. He had a good day he said a kid asked him to be his friend. He is excited to go back tommorow.

Savanah started 4th grade, she didn't have as fun of a day as Remi. Things are a lot different than her old school. She came home and asked if she could go to a different school.

I think once she is used to the different way this school does things she'll have more fun.

Ward Luau

The Activity girls and the Young Woman did a few Hawaiian dances.
When it got dark Fire Dancers came, that was cool. The kids were mesmerized.

Cousins Sleepover

We had a sleepover with cousins on Sunday night. The kids loved it, they don't get to have a big sleepover like that very often.

Cascade Springs

We went to Cascade Springs last week. That was fun the kids love to be outoors looking for bugs, and rocks, and other treasures.

Savanah's Cabbage

Savanah got this cabbage as a small plant from school in May, she asked Grandpa Great Nielson to grow it in his garden for her. This is what it looked like two months later. It weighed over 8 lbs.
